rocker ratio is advertized at 1.55....All the ones i`ve checked have come in around 1.48...............The carb is an 800 quadrajet

I don`t know if this will help. 81 was the only year that had a normally open turbo wastegate instead of normally closed like the other years...The little arm that controls the wastegate puck works just backward.....Maybe the two vacuum lines that go to the controller need to be...

The main thing thats wrong with this deal is the quadrajunk carb. There is no way that a stock fuel pump can keep that carb full with only one inlet needle and seat.....To further complicate things, the factory saw fit to put 29 thousanths tip rods in the rear....This is WAY too rich and...

I need a 78 Buick carbed turbo intake manifold for a Stock Eliminator drag project......The casting number is 1257426 or 1257407

That 268 cam has too much overlap. In a turbo motor you dont want the intake valve and the exhaust valve open together on the exhaust stroke. If the exhaust valve is open when the intake opens, you will lose your boost right into the exhaust...There are a lot of cam companies that make a turbo...

I think that is a Chevy carb.......It has a side fuel inlet........probably a 305
