Could you get the Lear Siegler (sp?) seats in a T-type with factory grey cloth?

Has anyone put an access panel in the trunk for the fuel pump so you don't have to go through the trouble of dropping the tank?

Does anyone bench test a used fuel pump or just replace them? I dropped mine today for inspection and the hoses seemed fine so i am thinking the pump is worn out.
