Anyone want their turbo Buick build in a book?

Wow! Very surprising to hear that it is not considered a smallblock.... Moving forward though, I am eager to get some combos because the V6 are running really good numbers!

Anyone want their turbo Buick build in a book?

My name is Sean and my current project is a twin turbocharged Buick 350 for my 70 Skylark. I am beginning to compile my mountains of information to write a book about Buick small blocks (225,231,215,300,340, and 350). In this book there will be a section for "readers rides" so to speak so this...

    Water/air intercooler anyone using them?

I am looking for info on anyone using an air/water intercooler on the turbo Buick V6. I am twin turbocharging a Buick 350 and was thinking that a nice direct tubing from the turbos to the throttle body would be best. If I used an intercooler like this one I could avoid a bunch of extra bends...

Twin Turbo Buick 350 in Regal?

Cool, thanks for moving it, didnt see this section... Should be fun and stay ALL BUICK, and V8 turbo. I've swapped in NA Buick 350s into regals without issue so it should be pretty straightforward. Let me know what you think?

Twin Turbo Buick 350 in Regal?

Thought I would see what you all think about using a twin turbo Buick 350 in a Regal for a street/strip car. I have a 78 Skyhawk that I was going to use for the twins but thinking a Regal may be a better platform. I have a bunch of these 350 cars and they run amazing, cant wait to boost one...

    3800 with water in cylinders

If a person were to use a 3800 series II motor the 4L80-E would be a bolt up though. Although you probly know that. :)

max hp for stock blocked turbo 231?

My car is a 76 4dr Century so it used to weigh more than 4000 pounds, I put it on a diet but it's still HEAVY. Anyway, I like it and I'm not looking to break any records here. I just want to get in the 12's and still haull the groceries ect around town. I'm planning to put a turbo Buick V6...

    3800 with water in cylinders

That trans must have been a 4Le or whatever it's called. I think it is the 4sp version of the th400 so they are better than the 200R4 and 700r4.

    Swap 87 GN motor/trans into 76 Century?

Cool. I'm guessing my 4,000 pound car could go 12.99 (my goal) at sea level with 450 hp and proper setup with sticky 10" tires. Every 100 pounds is suppost to be worth roughly .5 in the quarter so I guess I should shave a hundred pounds or more to help my cause! Anyone know a good...

max hp for stock blocked turbo 231?

Thats outstanding! So what does that work out to in HP? I'm guessing my 4,000 pound car could go 12.99 (my goal) at sea level with 450 hp and proper setup with sticky 10" tires. Every 100 pounds is suppost to be worth roughly .5 in the quarter so I guess I should shave a hundred pounds or...
