Ok. After reading some more. I think I was adjusting the TV wrong. I was pulling on the cable with the tab pushed in, not the plastic housing. I am going to see what I can do tonight after work. Hopefully I can get it fixed myself. I will post back with results. Mike

Might sound lame.... I use wd-40 to remove adhesive residue. Works like a charm, albeit may require a little elbow grease. After the goo is gone, simply rub off the wd-40 with a clean rag and if necessary, wax it to blend in with the rest of the paint.
