May be picking up an Art Carr pan to swap over on my 2004r. Figure its a good idea to run the pan with the stands ground down with a 700-r4 filter. Which application do I need to look up a filter for? How much do I need to grind down the stands?

77, you mean press the release tab and pull the inner black portion towards the front of the car, then hold the throttle WOT and slide the black inner portion towards the rear of the car till the cable is tight? Or the black portion is tight? Thanks Nick '88SS
