Gen7 running. First tuning question, idle related.

The wideband may be damaged, first check the sensor to see if it is rattling, sometimes they get physicaly damaged. Are you saying you have two DFI O2 wideband systems? If that is the case, try swapping boxes with the same sensor, then try swapping sensors on the same box, figure out which...

where the DFI software FTP go?

Anywone know what happend to the FTP page for all the DFI software? I used to check for updates there all the time, now its gone, WTF? Damon

Craig or Lance... stand alone sensors...

I think ya got my situation backwards. The system for the Dakota is setup to run in congunction with the stock PCM. This way, it allows the stock enging controller to keep reading its own sensors, and then the FAST also reads those sensors. That is how it is setup from FAST. I do not like it...

Craig or Lance... stand alone sensors...

I have a FAST system that was setup for a Dakota. The system used the stock sensors but did not remove them from the stock computer, so basicaly you get the stock ECU to read coolant and air temp as well as the FAST. One document I had sais the FAST was modified for this to work. I work on...

ATTN Craig Smith: change to stand alone sensors

Craig (or anyone else), I have a FAST that is setup to work with stock sensors that are also being used by the stock engine controller. I would like to run stand alone sensors, and I just wanted to know if this can be done without any mofication, or do I need to add pull up resistors for the...

    DFI wide band wiring?

Does anyone have the wireing diagram of the DFI Gen VII wide band option? What wires come out of the wideband box, and what does it plug into on the DFI box?

    Price on DFI?

Alright bro, I think your still taking this wrong... the sensor will NOT NOT NOT NOT NOTTTTT work with an autometer AIR FUEL guage, they read a signal from 0-1 VOLT. You will need a VOLTMETER (a device that displays voltage in "volts") And I dont know yet which wire this would be. If your...

    Price on DFI?

No, a standard O2 sensor (not wide band) has a 0-1 volt signal, and that is what an autometer guage can read. A standard WIDEBAND UEGO sensor has a 0-5 volt signal which there are NO meters that will read. But DFI has a converter inside their little controll box that sends out a voltage signal...

    Price on DFI?

actualy, I already found out about elie, he replied with a slightly higher price than I thought it should be, but that may be cause he included a wire harness which i did not want. As for the O2 deal, if you want to be able to run closed loop all the time, and get a REAL good tune under load...

    Low duty cycle?

Thank you Craig, that makes me feal a bit better. Any idea why I sometimes stumble or stall at idle then? I am idling in open loop because I had a much more irratic idle when in closed loop. Damon

    Low duty cycle?

I am running 48# injectors and about 38psi fuel pressure at idle. I some times stall when I come to a stop, or after idleing for a while. I noticed my duty cycle is only around 2%. I dont think I am idling too rich or too lean to be honest, but I think that 2% is just too low a DC to be...

Thanks Craig! I will do that.

    GM Temp sensors

I have a Dodge running the FAST ECU, and the CTS calibrations for Mopars is just WAY off, I have made one that is closer to being accurate, but I have no way of testing it. So, my solution to this is to just use some GM sensors. My question is, what GM sensor's are correct for the FAST, or...
