Nope... The port shape is different.

Isn't the exhaust flange angle different? I believe the top of the exhaust port is closer to the engine center line, and the port is higher up on the head. I wish I had a better picture of it. A 79-up intake should bolt up, but the intake ports will overhang the head ports. Left is 78 head...

Which side of this front seal is supposed to be facing the block? The timing cover I have is an aftermarket Silverseal HV cover. The seal is installed from the outside. If I put the seal in the way I think it supposed to go the tensioner spring will be on the outside facing the balancer. I don't...
