Is there a way to see the timing chain without taking the front cover off? I'm trying to see if the original is on or if someone has changed it before I bought the car.
Ok. I see now. Glad I asked. I do have the right adaptor. This is the first time I'm understanding that it "threads over the top". That's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. So simple, I had to make it hard. Thanks.

I'm installing a biggie oil filter adaptor on a car that does not have an oil cooler. It's sold by RJC. Question is, on the threading that is there, it looks like it would have unscrew out of the front cover? This would allow the new bigger threading to go in its place? there is not a nut...
Just installed one of these and it was spot on flawless. It has a complete plastic backing and does away with the yucky-pooh foam/glue siht.......
