Is it worth the little benefit? Porting the intake and heads

Jimmy, You will see a noticable difference if the heads are properly ported and matched with your intake. The problem with the hot air intakes is they're one piece and you can only port the runners. If you're going to go all out you'll need to cut the intake to access the inside and then weld...

Two problems for the price of one?

Brent, Finally had time to take the noid light to the injectors. Surprisingly enough all were pulsating. So, having checked spark and pulsation, it only leaves one thing, a bad injector?? No.. what else could it be?

Two problems for the price of one?

Brent, Thanks for the sound advice, I will go through the check list once I return from my south Carolina business trip. A couple of other thoughts I had. I should've checked the dip stick to confirm if gas got in the oil. The first thing I will do is change the oil. I was also thinking of...

The great thing about IC'd conversions . .

Wow, no wonder I can't get any help, everyone is on this thread. Anyhow, I'm going to leave my two cents. Having owned a ha and IC car, I enjoyed both of them and wouldn't hesitate to by another. I'm now the proud owner of my original GN I purchased in 1985. I've owned the car since. When the IC...

Two problems for the price of one?

Ok, while everyone is bitching about the definition of a hotair car, I'm going through a bunch of checks to figure out my &*(^&^()* problem. So all you experts out there, how about helping a brother out. don't worry that I decided to clock my turbo forward, add a little front mount cooler, and...

Two problems for the price of one?

Brent, I have to rig up another breather on the passenger side valve cover. It has a hole on the front of the cover but I only have a rubber tube there now as the alternator bracket doesn't allow clearance for it. I need a longer one so I can insert a breather. I'm not sure that is the issue...

Two problems for the price of one?

And let me mention the smoke was billowing out of the tailpipe, not from under the car.

Two problems for the price of one?

Ok, here is a good one. My new Zimmerman engine has been running top notch. I went to crank it up tonight to do some adjustments and I noticed the idle was off a bit and it almost sounded like it was missing. I then noticed it was smoking a bit. I drove it around the neighbor hood and noticed...

    afremarket uppipe

They must. When I get out there I'd like to check it out. Mike and Nick we're great. I see why you trust them. I had a small issue with my engine when I put it in. I had a small leak in the oil pan that looked like it was a rear main seal. I pulled the car in the garage after the first test run...
