Why does a car have a WE2 and W11 code? Is it normal to have a W11 code on all WE2s
W11: T-type package
WE2: Grand National package

Does anyone know the part number for the plug, if so there should be a jack that will connect to to plug. Other scan tools plug into the car, so can't we just get the scanner plug and repin it with the scanmaster wires and then it becomes plug and play. If I can get the part number I will find a...
The link to cargraph.com is to assist with finding a car to purchase. There is a HUGE list of cars for Sale. Using it to compare car sales is not even possible with these cars. Condition is everything and find a largely stock car I feel is the best bet, due to it being a fresh start for the new...
This is exactly what I was going for. I didn't post it for the experienced turbo buick people. It's simply to help out the new people in the community or a potential new commer. If they know what to look for with an easy guide to follow, it make the experience of buying these cars less...
That make me feel better. No one told me that. I thought it was a deleted from the site completely. Well happy days for everyone.
Thanks again for the great site.
So should I re-post to a different section? Maybe the link to all the sales listings of grand nationals in the whole country and a quick reference to assist people in the purchase of a GN does not belong in the "how to" section. Is it possible to move the post to another location in the forums...
That's not really an explanation to the deletion of the thread. But I respect the site decisions. I will stop pushing the issue.
Thank you for being a great source of information to the community. And may the GN live.
Then why deleted the post? I'm confused. The guide would and did help me more than any book or posting with a recent purchase. It an excellent tool to get people in this community. Which in turns means more member for this forum. It only seams to benefit everyone.
The scan master only seams to make since if a person wants to know what parameters the car is performing on a normal basis. It's a tool for the lack of guages GM installed on a stock car. I agree it has great info but the need is just not there over a power logger. Everything points to a power...
Is something wrong? I noticed that the post has been deleted. I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. I only meant to help people with a purchase of a new GN.
Hello I am new here and wanted to make my first contribution to the site. Many people seam to stalk this site reading and gathering info about these cars before they purchase. It a great idea! Also I must first recommend purchasing kirbans guides to turbo buicks and the guide to purchase a turbo...
But if the powerlogger is better in that it can record and get more data points, then why get a scan master? It seams that once a tune is set it is not magically going to change. So if any other modifications are made that require an adjustment to the tune then once again set the tune. I am not...
