What are the better/easier locations to tap for oil pressure and coolant temp. Photos please. What fittings are needed?

Checked for crank reference signal at PCM (A/B connector, socket B-5). When cranking there was a constant 11.4v not the expected 1-7v varying signal. What are the failure modes for this sensor? When I get a chance I was going to check the 3-way connector next.

Likely less costly to just have one made.

Change to original PCM, sputtered for about 20-30 sec. then the same no start. Will hit a cylinder once in a while. Check eng light on (computer responding) Fuses ok, added another gallon of fresh fuel. Could not easily get to the injection 3way connector so just used a "Noid" light, never...

I have read that it is difficult to get a good replacement MAF for these cars. Has any one found a decent one?

Aluminum can also be soldered once cleaned up. Less heat to warp it. If I had mine bare I would powder coat it also.

Update: Fuel pressure was not cumming up until it was cranked a little. Replaced fuel pump relay as it was on secondary power from oil pressure switch. Now is in acceptable range at key on (36psi). Now fires more routinely but still dies after a second or two. Looks like the pump is not getting...

Well actually had it running good, corrected many issues. Still have intermittent C14 (maybe PCM?) Shut it down, went on 2 week business trip. Went to start and drive it but batt was low (cranked slow). Charged the batt but now it is hard to start and won't idle and stay running. Lost learned...

Did have thread sealant, but at the harness it reads correctly. Had the car running good, now some thing else.

What if the 2 wires to the coolant temp sensor are reversed? They have been cut and taped.
