Hi guys, I have an 86 GN with 29K original miles. The car has original paint that for the most part is pretty nice, but is starting to show some age on the rear quarters. There is a small spot where it has faded, and the front bumper fillers are losing their shine a few days after they are...
Yea I figured as much that's why I ordered one. One quick question...I got the new walbro340 from full throttle and wondering if there is something specific with the install? I remember something had to be altered to the return onnthe older but notnsure if the new pumps are any different.
I'm...
This car still has the factory pump in it so I'm going to use this opportunity to put a walbro in there. In terms of water, it was dry as dessert when it went out. Car has been in the rain before and never an issue.
Car just shut off while driving. Factory relay is new and worked fine. Since the car just shut off I figure that is not the case since this is not a start/prime issue. Anyway, it died and had no pressure in the rail at all according the the gauge. Here is the interesting thing.....I had the car...
Powermaster has an electric motor. It does not click....it runs like any electric motor would. You can hear it inside the car, you can hear it outside the car. If you are still unsure, open the hood and listen. And if yet still unsure, put your finger on it. You will feel if it is running.
Whats the correct way to set this? Had to pull it out when I replaced my PM and now the converter is not locking. Im sure it is not set right. I assume it is just like the brake sitch? Converter will lock when switch is pushed in (brakes not pressed) and will unlock as soon as the switch...
I have this exhaust on my car currently, but still have the cat on the car. Test pipe is sitting on the floor awaiting install. I was wondering if anyone has gone from a cat to no cat with this exhaust. It sounds pretty nice as it is. My hope is that the dreaded drone does not appear once the...
The entire PM assembly is new. I tried pulling parts from it in the beginning but that did not work as the issue was internal leakage causing the pump to run forever. I pulled the entire unit and installed a new one from kirban.
I just want to know if it is ok that it runs for a few secs every...
Switched out the entire PM for a new one. Brakes work fine now and the pump turns off as it should. However it does turn on almost all the time. When it does turn on, it goes off in a few seconds. So back to the original question, when working properly, is it ok for the pump to run 3-4 seconds...
Ok so pump running non stop (key on) can be either the switch, or the fact that it can't reach needed pressure required for the switch to turn off the pump due to internal leakage. I assumed it was my accumulator when I first heard it run too long and swapped it out. It then worked ok for a few...
