    Directional signal problem

I think mine did the same exact thing some years ago... it was a bad ground at the light socket in the front bumper, passenger side....... You need to pull the bulbs and check the continuity to ground from the socket with an ohm meter, if available. As stated above, the common ground by the...

    Right rear taillight help!!

The brake light signal goes through the turn signal cam on cars that don't have a dedicated turn signal (amber) bulb, like the Regals do not. The car has to have a way to interrupt the brake signal, to make it blink. So, you need to check the plugs under the dash, but above the steering...

    no brake lights

OOOPS, looks like the same switch for both signals, I was wrong. That connector sounds like a good place to start

    no brake lights

As can be seen on the wiring diagram, the third brake light signal should come from a different switch under the dash, it should basically be a strait shot to the 3rd brake light, I believe. The brake light signal , as stated, will go to the turn signal cam and split to left and right sides...

    Turn Signal Issue

First we need to make sure there is a good circuit on both sides of the socket. It would seem that you have 12v at the bulb but as stated earlier in this post it sounds like a bad ground. Mine did the exact same thing you described in your first post, the reason that it is a little dim when it...

    Turn Signal Issue

Yes...with no power on, ohm out from the light bulb socket to ground or the neg. Battery post. There should be no resostance. My ground was bad right at the socket

Thanks for the reply Nick. What part number do you recommend using?

    ARP Head bolts too long

I searched and couldn't find any info on the head bolt kit from ARP #123-3703, purchased from a very reputable vendor....says for 85-87 GN. My problem is that the center two bolts (the longest ones) are too long. They measure 4.5" from the top of the cap to the end of the bolt, and bottom out...

    What do you think

The '82's are for sure a rare bird....pretty cool, my son thinks that he will be driving mine when he's old enough in another 4 years....lol.

    What should I do next

I would highly suggest a timing chain, if you haven't already done that, they are rumored to start losing teeth after 120k or so and really bad things can happen soon after. And if you still need to do that, you are only a couple of valve cover gaskets and an intake away from a nice new cam and...
