Thanks Tex. T. I have to ask them about air checking it prior. I did not list the builder because they are being helpful and I did not want to put them on blast......yet. A friend suggested the direct drum... center support rings, or low/ reverse cup plug? I was thinking low/reverse cup plug...
Anyone know what would be the cause of a brand new 200r4 transmission not having reverse? I noticed it as soon as I went to reverse after install while on jack stands still! The tires would move really slow and needed a good amount of throttle. I put the car on ground and all other gears work...
They are still $690 here but out of stock. I am first on the list when they get them in and was told that I will get it for that. This in on a Military Installation through AAFES. Outside the base if you can find one expect to pay 1200 and up!
I am looking for a 200r4 transmission for my T-Type. I need a good running trans with NO issues. No junk please. I already have one larger paperweight in my garage. I prefer someone in the GA/TN/AL/FL area so I can pick up and inspect. Thanks
I run 60pounders with the stocker too. Definitely get a Scanmaster! Do not buy anything until you get one. That thing is invaluable. I use the RJC controller. Once I got it, I think I could have made it myself lol. It works good though. I get even faster spool than before. I can also footbrake...
Rakkasan! My car is a bit lighter but have not been to track to weigh it yet. It came with no heat/AC, fiberglass bumpers, etc.... No issues upgrading some more stuff eventually. Looks like according to PTC I can slap it on and I will be happy with it and room to grow as I add more and reinforce...
Very interesting times you running with same setup! I spoke to one of the guys at PTC and told him what was going on and he said that they could do a converter that would be fine with the 70mm as well. Your combo and ET is exactly what I was looking for! BTW, spent most of my career at Campbell...
Very Spooky if your stationed at Ft Benning too, lol. I actually have 17 years and some change in too but I had a short break in service switching from the Marine Corps. What does that converter stall at? Your ET is perfect. Thanks for the feedback! What turbo you have?
Mine is doing the same thing. It only does it at WOT at high speeds. I crawled under and shook everything and noticed that my upper and lower control arm bolts were pretty loose. I am waiting on my new oil drain tube to get here so no test drive to see if that fixed everything.
