I second the opinion that you should carefully evaluate the shocks. Its very possible that they are no longer performing like they did 10 years ago.

I have one I just took off my '87. Not close however but can be shipped.

Pick the color that best compliments the body color; i.e. if the car is black, go with a grey frame, if the car is silver, chose the black frame....you get the idea.

I'm leaning toward air in the system. I use a hand held vacuum brake bleeding pump that has always worked really well whenever I have a soft pedal. Make sure you bleed all 4 in the proper order. I'd start there as that will only cost you a little time.
