Well, I 've found a way to circumvent any problems with my combo. :o ;) Just need to get the rotating assembly balanced and I can start assembling it.

Syclone w/ FAST. Vortec's lack an EGR passage compared to stock LB4 heads. To make the EGR at least visually/audibly functional, I was thinking of drilling a hole into the exhaust manifold & running a stainless hard line to a newly tapped hole before the EGR valve. This will at least cause...

To ease installation, put the end of the hose in boiling water for a few minutes. Quickly remove the hose from the water and squirt the WD40 inside the hose and on the fitting. You'll have to use a rag to hold the hose while your doing this quickly....obviously.

Hi Bruce, I'm the guy (Rick) that brought the box-o-parts and the case for you to assemble for my Syclone. It's running now and I'm noticing the tranny is noisy after its shifts into second. Also, when it goes into 3rd it actually feels like it slows down (a compression brake feel)...

A very good idea, something I didn't think about. Thanks. I was thinking a Hobbs switch that was set to open at a low vac, setting and a bypass switch for the 99.999% that I didn't need to worry about the Check Engine light. But I think Bob's idea sounds like a cleaner setup.

Well I would be interested in rigging something that mimicked the Check Engine light. Pesky California SMOG check, ya know. I already had a plan, but figured if the ECU already had something, no reason to duplicate it.
