Yes, you could say that I am. I will post photos of it once the engine is in. I spun a rod bearing a little after I had the car restored. I have an old photo of what it will hopefully look like again. Kinda hard to tell in the photo but it was a little shiney. The intake was polished which cost a pretty penny, hinges, braces, AC lines, misc bolts and brackets. Now this time it has a built motor so it looks great and will run great. The original work and chrome was done by Chrome Bob aka Bob Bennett here in Vegas.

So I was able to get the engine installed and figured I would upgrade my radiator to a big, better radiator. It is a Griffin Racing radiator. Then I swapped out my Eastern Front mount intercooler for a nice custom job. Its basically the same size as RJC's biggest FMI. I started to sleeve some of my hoses with the stainless steel braided material. Its starting to look real nice. Hopefully by this weekend I will be able to break in the cam and focus on some tuning. Times like this makes it hard for me to be patient but I'm confident it will all pay off in the end. I have some really cool head lights that were ordered from Sylvania. They are a black out light. They have black honeycomb material sealed inside to give it that black out look. Those were pricey so I hope it gives me the look I'm trying to achieve. I will install those over the weekend as well. I still need to put the end caps on the steel braided lines, that will help detail it out some more... Vroom ! Vroom ! Vroom !

I just sleeved my radiator hose with it and then bought the end caps to dress them in. I will post a pic of the finished hose. You may be able to find the material on ebay and just feed your hose through it. It can be a PITA. Can become like a Chinese finger toy and test your patience, but goes on quick once you get the hang of how to feed it through.

lol I have the chrome trim for that too. Im waiting to have my AC R12 drained before I take it apart to dress it up. I have chrome AC lines and tank etc. Once its complete it should look decent.

I am at this point in assembly of all the components and "hook up this and that" stages. I put the engine in the bay, mated to the transmission in an hour. It seems like everything else has taken an eternity. I am coming off a very expensive engine build and have made it a goal to have EVERYTHING operational, and hooked up and functioning properly before I kick it over. Granted I have powder coated all brackets, re-wrapped all the harnesses, added IAT (hot air car) added new chip, wired fans properly for ECM operation, and powder coated all bolts.... It's been 2 weeks solid doing stuff...and still have a punchlist of 30 things to do first!!! Does it ever end!!! lol...

Lol. The more I plug in this and that the more I see needs to be done....I know how you feel. That amd I see more parts that I can chrome or clean up..haha. Expensive hobby
