Went to T&T at the local 1/8th mile strip to run the new combo. Second pass of the night. I pulled up besides a new Camaro. Looked straight off the showroom floor.

He double bulbed me on the start so I eased in bumped on the prestage light and started a slow spool to get to the stage bulb.

When the green came on He went but I wasn't at launch boost yet. So I waited. Turns out it didn't matter. The .5 seconds he got on me at the start was gone by the 60ft mark.

When I hit the shutdown area he came flying by me to get to the turn off first an pick up the white slip from the timing shack.

I guess it's some consolidation he did beat me to the turnoff.

You can hear his friends screaming at him GO!

Good job I seen it. Glad they fork out that 30 k where a little 6 can smoke that ass. I have 2 or 3 I want to get before to long. Can't wait to pull the front tires off the ground.

Moulton is one of the better tracks in this area. Can't wait to get mine back going and test it out there.

And you can definitely break something hooking there.

Good Kill.

T & T here at G'ville is pathetic. The track is not prepped at all and is horrible. The launch area will hook for about 20 feet then the tires break loose and you fall on your nose, just horrible. You can feel one tire then the other loose and gain traction and the car dances all over for the first 150-200 yards. They get mad when I drive around and back into the water because I leave my 235 x 60 front street tires on and don't want have all that water in front of me. The problem is all the others who drive through and drag all that water up.

Nice!

What's even funnier is the chatter, "That's a 'Grand National,' man...!"

The guy came flying by me in the shutdown area and grabbed the white slip at the timing shack

he passed you on that barely 1 lane return?? we would have fought

No in the shutdown area. THen he turned across in front of me so he could be first to the return road. I guess his pride was hurt or something.
