TEST & TUNE COOK OUT

Pronto, still have those slicks? I might want to run a couple times :D. Ill bring something. Maybe some chips and dip.

Zack

Depending on what vehicle Al brings, I might have a set of dr's for you to borrow.

Thanks Pronto. If you can't its no big deal. I can always just run it on street tires lol.

Zack

I'm gonna bring my car trailer in case anyone gets carried away and breaks anything and needs a lift home hahaha. AAA is kinda skeptical about cars that break down "right outside the gate of the dragway" (ask me how i know!) Couple questions: ive only ever ran on wed and friday street nights, how much is admission/spectators? And how anal are the tech guys about roll cages and c-clips if the car is otherwise safe? Lastly, whats on the menu and what can i bring? Im looking forward to making a few passes, the air is just right!

I'm in, ill have the GN not too sure if ill run her(I'm a 1/4mi virgin lol) but it'll still be cool to meet you guys and possibly learn a thing or two, what time is everyone planning on getting there and what to bring for food?....Mike

I'll actually be in the area for this...minus my car. I'll have to see if Miguel and James and the others are going. Post up what to bring in case it works out in my favor.

Coach

1/4 Mile virgin here too! Lets break our cherries!

Zack

LOL, I don't mind the cherry popping, its the car popping I'm worried about, its a long ride back in the pass seat of a flatbed, worse with a broken GN on the back lol...Mike

They all break my friend...it's just a matter of when...
The ride in the flatbed is more frustrating when it broke on the freeway in my opinion. At least at the track...you were doing what you built it to do.

Good point Coach, I guess as of now I'm pretty lucky nothing has broke...yet, although I havent really beat on her too bad...yet...Mike

Don't even have to beat on it. Just getting on the highway can do it.

I beat mine daily. That's what they were built to do.

I just put a decent tranny in. All the times I have are with a flaring second gear. I'm excited to get it back to the track and see what I can get out of it.

LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THE NATIVES ARE RESTLESS. WE MIGHT ADD SOME GRUDGE RACING.
BYE THE WAY I HAVE A TOW TRUCK LOL
