How Much HP will it make?

How about I post after going to the track and you find another thread to hate on til then. You and your buddy's opinions mean jack chit to me. The dyno sheet is there, there were several witnesses to the run. I'm well aware of dyno's reading differently and will count on the track. It's not lime I was bragging these numbers up, just reporting what happened at MY tuning session. Talked to another guy here this AM who had his 2010 kenne belle procharged mistake on the SAME dyno the day before I was there, at 18 psi he made 670rwhp. Sounds about correct to me. So for now why don't you GO AWAY.
Dont take it to the track. The timers will be wrong that day. It will show you much quicker than you actually ran. Fwiw the last KB supercharged Mustang i saw on the dyno made within 1 whp of what KB claimed it would.

Thought I read that Bison had a 700whp motor with a 66mm, please chime in if that was incorrect Brian.

Yeah, just about 700whp and it had 807wtq too. Guess that ones really generous too. It most assuredly made more power on the street/strip since it made more boost off the dyno. 114mph in the eighth/3600lbs. Time for you to go back with c16 and 30psi and see if you can hit 800whp.

Lol. I think you were quoting me here. You even got my sig

Ha! I was trying to with little success...
Thanks for the additional "impossible numbers" for comparison... So are you saying that my car is going to end up eating this convertor if i run it a lot at the track? Being that I'm not going to cage it, drive it everyday in the summer that weather allows, even to some longer distance shows, should I look into a 9.5 nl? For me I'll probably make three runs MAX a year. This is why we opted to go with a lu.

Cal was confidant we could've made 850+ if I wanted to put it on the edge, it was still fat on the big cleaned up pull and I was quite fine with leaving it alone at 720. Funny thing is that this is known as the stingy dyno here in town...

Im thinking your flash stall speed under power on the street if you can get traction will be in the 5700-5800rpm range. You will likely never see below that rpm with that converter under full power. A 9.5" would really give it a lot more room in the quarter. They dont slip much on light cruise either. Try it with the 10" and see what you get. Just be sure that the LU circuit is not energized under power since it will smoke the clutch almost immediately with it trying to lock under the differential rpm and power.

It is what it is for now, if I pull out my wallet for this car and its for anything other then gas my wife won't give me any for a week!

Well at least you know its equally stingy from car to car. lol. I have a habit of writing down the whp before the dyno pulls to see how close i am. I dont even want to tell the owners if they ask prior to the pulls. Usually because i dont want to tell them how low the # will be and get them pissed off prior to the real # . But then after the pulls ill show them what i wrote down and its usually with a few %. This is usually with non Buick powered cars too. What injector/DC?

79 lbers with the dual nozzle kit spraying at level 7 we were 60% dc. The owner of the shop about chit his pants... So did I!!!!

Ok dude, i dont know what your name is or the name of the stuff you are smoking but if you can't understand that it is very unlikely you could make
850+ on a little 212/212 cam, unported TA heads and a 6765 then I don't know what else to say, do your research and then come back with realistic numbers to post, I think Cal is telling what you want to hear but I still think that your 730rwhp on 24psi and only 18* of timing is also very suspicious. :D

What gets me is he said he had GN1 now he put T/A heads man this guys good lol, but for real he got a hell of a combo and a good tune very nice good luck with your engine.nice build

I never said I had TA heads... Did you read any of Bison's posts? I'm sure 90% of us on here can agree he knows his chit, well he made a STOCK bottom end motor with a 66mm turbo make over 700... So, why is it sooooooo hard to believe there is a car with all the right parts and one of if not THE premier Buick TR tuner that made the power???? Personally I think you're butt hurt cause yours didn't do what you wanted it to, honestly I was worried about that too, so I NUTTED UP and paid 2k to make SURE MY TUNE WAS RIGHT.

I read every post i was joking about what nasty87 said about T/A heads that is not on the car to start with trust me i know bison know his stuff i believe your car got the power it wasn't towards you,it is what it is a bad a$$ engine thanks magee

You paid 2k to have your car tuned by Cal , wow, i think i will keep mine were it is for now. :D

Forgive me i made a slight mistake saying there were TA heads, i know for sure you said there were GN1's which is exactly what i have except mine are the fully ported GN1R's.

That's his rate, maybe we've found the difference between our combo's we all Don Cruz can build a hell of a motor, we also all know who tunes his.

Thank you. Just getting over this BS, sorry for any confusion.

I know he wont fly out anywhere unless it involves a group tune over 2k and the clients have to pay for his room, food etc etc, so if a group of 10 people got together it could $200+ a pop, do you mean to tell me you paid him personally 2k just to tune your car?

One question, what is the compression ratio on your build?

That is correct, why would I get cheap after dropping over 35k on the total build? From all I've read on here, tuning is the best way to get power out of these cars, not JUST high dollar pieces. Compression = 8.5:1 For all the guys who've PM'd looking for more info on the engine builder, here ya go.
