Mother of GOD !! 26 psi on the alky Rolling 40 mph burnouts are no problem. I will say this is a better setup than my old 67gtq/ 3200. Car just feels "happy" lets see how long a stock longblock and trans can hold up :D:biggrin::D
No this weekend but next I'm hitting the track and will post up the #'s

Depends on if my buddy gets his procharged s-10 done this weekend. If he does 75-80 as its very close to his house, if not I will most likely ride up to Cecil Co as I seem to post better times there.

Post up if when you head out to the track Il see if I can make it down... still collecting more parts for my car before I change anything to much.

Yes I am running the stock cam . Works like a charm :D I know people are making power with all the new big fancy rollers cams and such ... However I remember running 10's 15yrs ago with a stock cam. I think the new turbo/ alky tech more than makes up for the cheaper blended fuel we have now. My goal is 10.50's stock longblock and daily driver friendly. I know it can be done. I know i may be sliglty light on turbo to do it.. we shall see .. my backup plan is to put these DLS heads on (STILL STOCK CAM) and that will do it for sure.

Jim Pm me your phone # and we will hook up next time i get out there 3 weeks or so I should be up and running again.

Your right..

I have the same turbo and converter match as you:cool:. I like it ALOT! Awesome for the street.

I was on the edge of swapping cams because of these reasons. But.... it is NICE to replace the 20 year old valve train. When I started revving mine the factory hydr. lifters started to tick:mad:. So I went the 210/210 roller route $$$ w/ Morel's since I was already there... Mine idles like stock but I can rev it to 5900rpm and it's still making power. The stock cam is good up to 5000-5200rpm I believe.

Just saying... I like to rev mine:cool: Have a nice 4th of July!

Good deal! Looking forward to the results.

With the 9x11 what rpm are you seeing at 0 boost and 5lbs boost?

Thanks,
Mike

yeah liked it so much(9x11) I bought a 2nd one for a friends car I'm building but he decided to go the bullet proof 4l80/ 9 inch route with it so it does not break. We had lined up the 4.1 to 4.5 stroker stuff but he turned on me wants chevy power :( going to change it up to a twin setup on a 377 sbc. I think he is shooting to get thrown out of every track he takes the car to  Should be fun hope to go deep into the 9's with stock suspension on 275's full interior, all metal with ac working:eek: he had a good point the car is a 84 (hotair) so no one cares if its converted... its just the intercooled guys who go crazy about the chevy swaps.

How much is a billet 9/11 and what does it stall? How does it compare to the Vigilante?

9x11 is much tighter than a vig. I have since removed the trans as i'm getting some flair. Dave of turbobuickperformance.com just hooked me up with a new trans and asked me to try this 9.5 ptc unit. its going in monday so I will have results next week if Ed Miller ever sends me the rest of my brake parts !

gn4u2c,dave did mine a few weeks ago you will be very happy that guy can build a trans.

Yeah I drove up and meet him seemed pretty cool and my general questions got in depth answers.. the kind you have to pry out of other guys.. I will post up the results next week

ok got it all in last night . its a pro torque 9.5 lock up sorry for the confusion. tired typing is no good :) once the roads dry up I will take a drive.

I have the same in my car, Dave did his magic on my trans, and I have the Pro- Torque as well frickin awesome on the street and Highway.I can't say enough about the way my trans works,2nd to 3rd shifts launches the car:eek:!!!

stock heads at the moment. I am still tweeking the suspension some plus its just HOT as all getout . I will hit cc next week if its cooler out.

Sounds good. I had real good luck with the pt61 so I sure I will love the 6262. Looks like the funds might come in sooner than later. But I'll be waiting for the heat to drop a little also.

Last min we decided to hit the track last night, got there around 8:45pm and it was still hot as all balls ! 89* air temp. Made one pass 1.56 60ft off the foot brake, using 255 dr's, 10.76@125 mph, 26psi on 93+alky climbed to 27.5 psi but zero knock on the datalogger. I was a little conservative on the timing, I pulled a degree out from what I was running around with because of the heat. Soon as I came around to the lanes they walked over and asked me to park it LOL..I guess that 13.50 I wrote down on my tech in card was slightly off:biggrin: It was just to hot so rolled home.
All and all I am very happy with the car. I think with better weather, a little more aggressive tune. The few weight reduction parts I have around that need to be installed 10.50's are a real possibility.
