I am tired of looking at the car just sitting under a car cover and not moving, with school and the car at my parents house I have no time to fix it. I am not sure but I have been thinking about parting out the car as I was going to fix the car but $$ is an issue. If I do end up parting it, I wanted the SW to have first dibs on the parts, I have numerous parts here is the list:
Turbonetics CPT65BB 4k miles w/ braided hoses in and out
RJC FM IC
3 inch DP with Tnetics EXT evolution gate
Tnetics boost controller
Nice tranny cooler
50# inj. along with TT chips
Translator plus with a couple LS1 MAFs
Alkycontrol kit with new pump
Scanmaster 2.1
70mm TB and plenum with powerplate
4 inch intake pipe
Theres alot more stuff, i just cant remember right now
The motor might need new heads or it might need to be rebuilt altogether but it only has 75,xxx miles on it. Some dip**** mechanics messed with the TV cable and blew the clutches in the trans but it was built by Brian with a bunch of nice stuff inside with a Tbrake.
The car itself is in really nice shape, its an 87 Turbo T with leather seats, posi, chrome mirrors, opera lamps and sidemarkers.
The car can be seen here:
1987 Buick Regal T-type 3.8L turbo V6
I am open to offers on the whole car or the parts listed, I am not 100% sure I want it gone but like I have alot of money in it and none left to even attempt having someome fix it. I really dont want to sell the car like this but I hate to see it sit and nothing be done about it. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

just sit and wait,

now is not the time to sell, or part out,
unless your selling to me! ;)
I know its frustrating, but hold on to it, you'll be glad you did!

i get frustrated and "phantom sell" my elky all the time. Thank god nobody wants it! My car too has been broken for the past 5 months I guess, it ran for 6 months or less with an engine I bought used, and before that was broken for another year or so.

I too am in the same position where I cannot spend much on it, but I'm just sitting on it till I can. Some people can afford to drop money on demand, some of us cannot. If you to sell that now, imagine how long it would take to afford another!

Take it from somebody who has a clean car that is broken down all the time,,,, sit on it! Or sell it to Lee:D
whats wrong with it anyways? I think we talked about it before.

In the words of Arthur Fonzerelli (Fonzy).

Sit on it!

hold on to her,i'm in pretty bad shape financially right now due to being laid off many months ago and lending family members thousands of dollars and not being repaid, i just got hired and i'm supposed to start mid week but have about 5 dollars to my name rent is about due,my land lord propositioned me ten months free rent if i give him my car, my reply was i'd rather park it on the street and live in it, i've got about mid twenty g's invested in it and i'm not about to rape myself by selling it that low, now is not the time to sell hang on to her.....i can see the light at the end of the tunnel, nope it's muzzle flash!

thanks for the nice words, I am still on the fence about this, Ill let you guys know what I end up doing with it. I am just pissed because I almost had enough money to get it fixed then some bull**** came up and now im back to square one and the car will be sitting for another 3-6 months..and its already been sitting for a year!!

Definitely sit on it.

The market for selling is not good right now due to the economy and you don't seem to be that far from being where you need to be to make some progress.

I had ot sit on my 68 Camaro for 4.5 years before I finally had what I needed to rebuild it, so I can relate to the depressed feeling you get when you see your GN sitting there motionless.:frown:

Sooner or later the planets will align and you'll be up and running and posting Kill stories.:D

just chill and sit on the car .. ya it sucks but nice cars are getting hard to come by. Ill prob just end up with an old "turboelky" car  :p

yeah, the leather is HOT! I bought a/c lines from a member here, but between him and a friend who picked them up for me, they got broken:mad: that is why leather is better where there is sleet and freezing temperatures. At least us ranting away is taking away from GNGUY's thoughts of ridding of his T. I like that silver car!

Grumpy, you remind me of Gary. Old and lost.:D Good to have you wondering around here with your knowledge:cool: :D

Dan, alias "Grumpy" is neither old nor lost. He merely pretends to be. I am old but not lost. I watched my cat one day doing circles chasing his tail, and I used to chase tail in my younger day, so now I just walk around in circles chasing my tail.
