What year did buy/how much was your TR?

I bought my GN brand new in '87, paid $22.000 Canadian dollar$...and still have it today with NO plans to sell it...ever! :D

swapped my 72 vega drag car for my 87 turbo t in oct 07. was asking 10,000 for my car so i guess i give 10 for my t. way to much but i wanted one lol. already put about 9,000 more in it lol and it still needs paint :)
 
Bought my 87 GN in March of 93 with 53K on it for $8800 which I thought was a steal at the time. I have calculated that if I had not purchased this car I would be worth 1.2 billion dollars today. :eek:
 
A car is only worth what someone will pay for it!

2001 bought the 87 White Limited (avatar) from a friend for 10K.
Still have it and have spent another 10K on it so I'm stuck with it now.

1996 bought 87 Two Tone Limited stock with 65K on it for $6400.00, Daily driver for a year and sold it for $6400.00

1999 bought (showroom condition ) 87 Silver T-Type stock with 23K miles on it for $4K (barn find in Nebraska) sold it for $13K in a week (should have kept it).

Mods in sig bought early oct 09. It's a 87gn ttop pw pl cruise power seat just rolled 90k paid 8400. Was listed for 10k
 
Bought my 1st gn in 96 till 99 for $9k then in 2002 i purchase the one that i own at the moment for$17.5k with 28k miles on the clock
 
Bought my GN back in 1991, had 4,700 miles on it, also still had the new car dealer sticker on the windshield. 16,500 cash and it was mine!
 
Bought my 87 astro-roof,cornering lamp T from D.K. in 1997 with 74,800 for 8900. Bought second 87 gn project car for 4,000 with 88,000 in 2008 also from D.K.
 
Bought it new in 87. Haggled with the salesman for 3 days, agreed on a price then I told him I would be back on Saturday to test drive all 4 on the lot and I would tell him which one I would take after the test drive. He freaked. Paid 18,000 and 137,000 miles later I am stil in love.
 
TR#1 was an 87 GN hard top; $8500 in 1993/ latest 87 T hard top (TR #5); I purchased for $8700 in Jan of this year.... :D
 
Paid 16,000 for mine with 326 miles on it in 1986. Sticker was 17800
 
Bought my 82 1/2 GN (1 of 16 turbo) in 86 for $8500 (stolen).
My 86 GN I bought in 87 for 13,900 (sold after 16 years)miss her.
I traded 84 GT350 mustang for my 87 Turbo T last year.
 
bought my mostly original 87 t from a man dying of cancer in 2006 for $7000
he was selling off all his cars but kept this one until last..it is so nice i never offered less than his asking price..i would have paid 10k for it...
 
2002 Got my 87 for $3,000 with a disassembled engine that had a worn out crank. Sold it in 2004. Miss that car...:rolleyes:

2004, Got my 85 for $4,000 as a roller with A new Caspers LC2 harness, Powermaster, and large aluminum radiator.
