      hey ther i just went to bone yard picked up jeep shaft for steering but i cant figue out the connection to steering colum what could ibemissing or do i need to mdify something

        Make sure you got the right steering shaft, some years won't fit, I believe they are made out of aluminum, If you have the right one, it will have a "pinch" type clamp on the end that goes to the steering shaft. I used a grade 8 bolt for this. You will have to slightly "notch the steering column for the shaft to fit, and to get the bolt through it.
