After much anticipation, I will be arranging for transportation of my 87 GN this coming week. It's a hardtop with 88K that has been garage kept in South Carolina for most of its life, and driven by a GN Enthusiast. It is bone stock with the exception of K&N fiter (just the way I wanted to find one).

I live in Riverside County, and am wondering if you guys in Souther California can recommend a GOOD GN specialist technician? From what I know of the car, I think it's been well maintained, and is in better than average shape for the mileage. I will however, want to have the car gone through by someone who knows them very well.

I was also hoping to tap on the crowd here for a list of your favorite GN web sites, and online stores for replacement parts, etc.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated,

J.R.

[/QUOTE Here you go again! If you have some kind of problem recommending my shop tell me to my face. What have any of those people you are steering this person to done for you lately & are they any better qualified than my shop. If you can't be unbaised towards my business. At least mind your own. You make it a point to stick your nose into anything involved with TR's includeing bad mouthing cars that people are trying to sell. This new guy hasn't figured you out yet. Most of us have & try to ignore you. I have extended my friendship to you several times & helped you out. Yes I did charge for my services & maybe you find this offensive but whens the last time you worked for free. Why do you insist on burning your bridges. At least have the common sense to realize how small this community is & how we need to stick togather. Thank you again Gary. Regards Lou

Re: More...

jeff, please be aware that they guy was asking for someone to inspect his car not to buy parts for it, both places that you posted are internet sites to buy parts and they do not do inspections on the spot as Lou will, let me remind all of you that Lou has been dealing with TR's for over 25 yrs and all these other shops you recommend came way after Lou had been doing his thing , lets support the guy., at least put his name up there with the other people your advertising and let the new comer make his mind up about who he wants to go with.. just my 02's..

PS: I dont care how far the shop maybe, when it comes having your car worked by the best sometimes you have go great lengths to get it..

Had excellent service from both of these companies.
When gnttype.org gets back online, they have a list of all the vendors in the buiz.

Kevin:
His post/request seems pretty clear to me.
Lives in Riverside County.
He asked for a good GN technician/specialist.
He mentioned that he wants someone familiar to go through the car.
He asked for favorite websites.
He DID ask for ONLINE STORES for replacement parts.
Seems to me that Jeffs recommendations were correct and complete.
What are you smoking?

I am not smoking anything, for what i read on his post he ask for a good GN technician specialist in the LA area, the only good GN technicians specialists i would trust my car too would be Lou Czornota and Darryl that use to work for Buick Boulevard here in Long beach, you guys should know how Anal i am about my car and that i dont let anybody but the best work on it, yes it may cost a bit more but its worth it, the point is you mentioned a So So specialist here in LA the least you could have done for someone like LOU who has done a lot for you and for so many of us here in LA including myself, and who has a great and extensive knowledge about this cars was to mention his name on your post, dont you agree!!!, as far as i know this new guy is not yet looking for replacement parts, but his primary goal is to have someone look his car over so that he can take it from there and start modding..

Hey as soon as you want to actually run that car, instead of it sitting in your garage getting parts bolted on it... and dusty

hahahahaha this is funny, better to have it sitting in my garage collecting dust for the right reason IE (dont want to run the miles on it and or abuse it) it is a clean car and low miles afterall, yours sits and collects dust because it wont even RUN.. hahahahahahahahaha.. jeff you better quit while your ahead and dont burn your bridges.. take my advice.
