Now I know what the smell in my GN was when I bought it! I thought someone had spilled a bottle of men's cologne in the car at some point! Now I know why you guys like it so much. It's definitely a strong smelling mens' cologne scent. I don't care for it much myself. I would rather not...

Well, this was a really loud pop, like a backfire...so who knows what it was. Maybe it was just a one time thing and it won't happen again. LOL yeah right :rolleyes:

I was accelerating onto the interstate tonight and heard a loud pop, looked under the hood and this hose was torn and dripping coolant. Sounded like and intercooler hose blew off but those were all ok. Would this have caused a loud pop?

Ok....dumb question, I'm sure, but what is the purpose of this hose? :confused:

Problem solved I got my STS-V back yesterday. The dealer replaced the lifters and the cam actuators. It's now nice and quiet. :D Seems like it has more power too which is even better! :cool: ;)

For some reason it's just the outside of the air dam by the fender that was messed up on all the ones that were ordered from GM. I would like to see pics please, especially of front and fender side of the air dam. :confused: Thanks!

I need a passenger side air dam in very good/excellent condition, no scratches, no holes, etc. I know it is still available from GM, but I have ordered it 4 times from different Buick dealerships and they all look the same. Terrible! :mad: Must be a defective mold they are using or either old...

I just spoke with the service department at the dealership where I took my STS-V for a second opinion on the clattering noise. They said that they believe it to be a bad lifter and they want to replace the lifters on it. :confused:
