New black paint.
2000 wetsand.
Finesse It lll with a white foam pad.
No more swirl marks, but now I have milky stripes.
Want to go to Finesse It ll with the same pad, followed by glaze with the black pad - but don't want to do that until you kind folks help me figure out the stripes.
Thanks

How long scince the paint was done? Have you had it buffed scince that paint was applied? If its too new then dont buff, but other than that I would give a quick call to any detail place for 100% satisfaction.

Milky doesn't do the body good

Is this a base/clear job and the milkiness is in the clear? I have sprayed alot of cars and only had it do that once, when they gave me a bad batch of hardener. It hardened good in some areas and not in others (milky, soft areas). My PPG rep gave me enough supplies to paint 3 cars for the hassle. I did have a workmate that had it happen once, but he admitted to not stirring well and leaving his gun sit for quite a bit in between coats. He cut it open with 1200 wet and set it out to dry in the sun for a while. He said it went away on the second buff. Good luck, I hope you get it resolved.
