WOT Shift point Change

I have read a couple of threads out there that indicate you can lighten up a specific weight in the transmission and gain additional RPM in your wide open shift points.

I would assume the lightening of this weight will also change your part throttle shift points, is this true.

Are there any negatives to this method for changing shift points?

I was looking into a mod offered by CK Performance, but it is pretty costly.

Any Further Lightening Of The Governer To The Rpm You Are Requesting Will Result In High Speed 4/2 Kickdowns And Late Part Throttle Shifts.if This Car Has Alot Of Power And Money In It This Is Not Reccomended.the Other Vb And Governer Will Produce Better Results.
