Honestly, if I was going to take it to that level I would start with a base model C6 with an automatic trans or even better a FRC C5 which I still prefer over the C6 cars.

I'd rather have a c5 z06 and drop a ls7 in it with a pro-charger and make 700whp. That some exhaust, tuning and sticky tires and you'd have 9s for under 40k
