What do you want to know?
I have one minus the gauges and wiring he sells ( I used VDO ) so I might be able to help.
Matt
Several of them have sold on Ebay for around 700.00. They are supposed to be plug n play with no issues.
My ? concern the gauges---wireing ?? Tach is of 30 percent---Speedo reads 55 when it is actually 45. Temp reads 195 when it is 180. Tach has dip switches 1-8. which ones should be on--which ones should be off? All S.W. gages. Boost is 15 PSI, worthless IMO--need a 30. Will not return calls. Has a plug and play wireing harness which is supposed to use all the factory wires. No instructions as to how to adapt to SW sending units. John from Caspers has been all the help he can, but can't answer all my ? I have a car in my garage that I need to finish. Have been waiting all day for a return call. Nothing.
Good to know. Was gonna order one for myself. I think I will steer clear now.
Yeah...I would wait until something better comes along. I have an old Performance Instruments GNX style dash and I wish he wouldn't have closed his business down. Poston's tried to pick up where he left off but their product was crap.
I've been really hoping to see Casper's put one on the market and I've heard rumors they are...
I know with mine I had to put on another VSS and the speedometer (a Stewart Warner) had a wire with a button for zeroing it and setting it. The Stewart Warner website should have instructions for which settings to use for the tachometer.
I still have my instructions from Performance Instruments, it was plug and play too...not sure if it would help or not but I could scan them and post them.
Which one is this? Do you have a link?
I had an old AVC "GNX Style Dash" with their own version of a plug n play harness and VDO gauges......kept the gauges and wiring harness....
I've now got these VDO gauges installed in a "World of Motorworks" GNX dash . Noticed that my VDO water temperature gauge reads about 20deg F higher than my scanmaster shows. I'll pay closer attention to the other scan master read outs and compare to my VDO gauges next time out in the car. I'm sure they will not have the same readout as the SM as well.
Seems that it's not a unique problem related only to SW gauges.
As with most products made for these old cars......you should expect to do some "tweaking" during the installation process.
Overall, I'm happy with the end result.

I have a WOMW setup (minus SW gauges) as well. Speedhut gauges were what I decided to go with throughout the car. If you're looking to go with a 30#, check them out (Gauges, Custom Gauges, Tachometers, Speedometers, Shift Light, Pod). You can basically design your own.
I have talked to Paul (the owner) several times. He has always taken care of anything I needed. I will say he has had some recurring health issues over the last couple of years. I haven't heard from him in a while, so perhaps something has taken a turn for the worse. I am not sure.
Good luck with your issues and if I happen to talk to Paul anytime soon, I will direct him to this thread.
