I've always talked about attending the Woodward Dream Cruize near Detroit. If I'm going to bring my car I'd like to find a hotel with a Garage. I'm concerned about both security of the car and rain. My t-tops leak bad. Does anybody plan to attend, and does anybody know of a hotel in the Detroit area somewhere that would have a good parking garage?
We went to the Car Craft Summer Nationals in Minneapolis last summer. My wife found a hotel with a garage in the basement. I think it was about $10 a night (which almost nobody paid) for an empty garage (except for our 2 SSRs and my tow truck) with cameras and a special guest pass to get into the garage area. I never slept so good in a hotel. I'm almost considering going back to car craft because of the parking.
