Wiring ideas.

In order to promote good voltage i am going to get a new ignition switch
and i was also considering installing a large high amp relay activated by the switch so that all of the load is on the relay and not on a switch that wasn't designed to handle a big load.
My idea is to leave the cars body wiring powered through the switch like OE.
And connecting ALL engine related electrical system tied to this relay
the relay that i am considering using is a "Stinger SR80" (because i already have one)

What do you electrical gurus think?

Great idea. I did that a while back and the voltage on the scan master increased quit a bit .

I have been using that setup on my Buick V6 powered Toyota for 35 years. Works great. I used a headlight relay from NAPA.
