Wiring help and Identification

So I need some help. I have wire in my harness that I need help identifying. The wire is coming from the bulkhead harness and is on the headlamp harness. I have looked over the wiring diagrams and believe it is the "Engine Compartment Light. The wire is a BLK/BRN wire. The wire shown in the pic is what I am describing. It is open and stripped on the end. (I bought this harness as a spare, not original, since I didn't want to cut up the original harness). Please let me know

Actually, that's BLK/ORN from the C100 (firewall bulkhead) connector to the C490 (hood lamp) connector where it turns solid ORN.

Mine turns black at the connector.

I don't have a connector.. just blk/org wire.
