Wiper Pulse Module replacements

Since there are no after market alternatives for the wiper pulse(delay) control and apparently no one is repairing them either, has anyone attempted to take a pulse module from a newer car and wire it in to the GN?

The cover assembly is the same for G , A , & F body cars of same years . The motor was the same except for the crank arm and I believe the washer pump nozzle angles . So if you can source one of those motors with the cover on it you should be go to go .
I worked in the department at Delco Products that made all of GM's wiper motors for those body styles and probably packed a million or more of them .

I have an 87 T Type without intermittent wipers and would love to add the pulse wipers. If anyone comes up with the information necessary to achieve this let me know because I ran into same problem trying to purchase the new components.
