Wiper Arm Removal

I know it sounds dumb, but I cannot get them off! How do they come off? Is it the little tab by the stud? I tried moving that but it didn't do jack!

It is that tab. You have to pull the arm up away from the window a little bit because the arm has a flap that keeps that tab from moving when they are down against the window but when you tilt them up it moves out ofthe way so you can pull the tab out then they will lift right up.
