Window tint -best brand and long term will it ruin my rear defogger?

Post says it all I want to tint the window but say a few years down the line can it ruin my defogger removing it if necessary? It stored inside garage so it never sits out in the sun. Also what would be best quality brands for long term durability?

LLumar, it can be taken off rear window without damage but you must know what you are doing. Quality film will last many years. Cheap film turns purple much quicker and you can not use windex to clean the tinted windows. The ammonia destroys the film. If you do not know what you are doing, tinting will make you curse. Hope this helps.

Thanks I'll find a llumar dealer nearby and make sure they do quality work and warranty. But for the most part it shouldn't affect the rear defogger.

use a scuncii steamer to peel of any tint-($65)
it will remove it without pulling your defroster lines off
if your thinking waaaayy ahead you can get one for the woman in your life to clean the house and "borrow it " to remove tint when time comes
