T turbofrank Well-Known Member Joined Nov 4, 2002 Oct 16, 2011 #7 I ran mine for about 6 mo without lockup gas milage suffered a little. Mentally missed lockup just a smoother rideand less noise.

D dpasadena Member Joined May 18, 2009 Oct 17, 2011 #8 Fluid temps will be high at highway speeds. I would get it locking asap.
