Wifi for fast and MSD box?

I have thought about the same thing, but from a larger scale. We had logging(replay) issues with BS3 and I thought about wireless serial port boxes to log the run online from the trailer, but my goal was too ambiguous. No box had distances up to half a mile.
Try googling for "wireless rs232" (if the msd and fast use serial link, I dunno that).

I've done it before. With the antennas I was using at the PC and in the car I only had a range of about 800 feet, and the data logging rate was reduced. Long story short it is possible but you would certainly be in major violation of any sanctioning body's rules against live telemetry systems or live/remote tuning capability.
