where do i get a stock wastegate rod?

I broke my old one when I was taking the engine out. It's completely screwed (no way of making an adjustable one out of it). I got a GM part # off gnttype.org and took it to the dealership, but they said it was $250 and it had been discontinued so they can't even order it. Where can I find one and is it really going to cost that much for a little piece of metal? Thanks....

You have to buy the whole wastegate actuator. That is what you need...right? I sold a stock adjustable one for $15 a few weeks back...so they can be had for less than $250. HTH

If you don't want a used one, try Poston, Kirban, Ramchargers, ATR, or Jack Cotton. Check several, the prices seem to vary a lot.
