when car sets a while doesn't want to stay cranked

Just wanted to get some possible leads. I sold my GN not too long ago and the buyer is describing a problem I had a while back has started again. What it does is that when it sets a while (like for 2 weeks or more) when cranked it does not want to stay running. You can crank it and when is at an idle it shuts off. If you press the gas to keep it going it will eventually start running right after about 3 or so minutes on the road. If anyone knows a good member that could help him out in the Biloxi, MS area please let me know.

temp sender, perhaps? if the ecm thinks it's warmed up, it will run way lean when cold, but run fine once it warms up.

First thing I would do is scan the ecm for codes. Then check the sensors for proper readings.

surface charge on battery? It can show 13V before initial start up and then drop dead. These cars like voltage. the stumble can be the alternator making up for what the car lacks.

Put a heavy load on that battery (load tester) and verify it is good.
