wheel hop

how can i get rid of wheel hop.i instaled a 336 posi in my 85 i have never run a posi before so can anybody help.it will spool up and start to spin but as soon as the car moves forward it bounces all over the place if any body can help many thanks

Put some a set of $40.00 air-bags in it and leave the air-shocks to the other brand X-ers!

Just a suggestion

I just got a set of air bags from JC Whitney, they were $69.00. I think thats probably as good of a price as you'll find. Boxed lower control arms will help also, don't know about air shocks. - BB

One thing not mentioned is something I read in the Buick Performance book is LCA bushings. Red had mentioned that it is 90% of the wheel hop problem. I have bad wheel hop on the GN but will probably try the air bags first, then the H&R Parts LCAs that come with the bushings. Installing variable rate rear springs and Bilstein shocks did not help my wheel hop problem, but it needed them anyway. Tim

Air shocks suck. Stay with a gas shock and go with the airbags. You could also try lower contol arm relocation brackets.
