What position should my TV cable be in after a compelete rebuild?

Tranny dropped, now is comepletely rebuilt. When i first got it, it shifted real loose almost like it had a flare, then I adjusted the cable and now it shifts like a rock and throws me back in my seat, question is where the ultimal tv cable setting and how should it shift?

Set it to were it pulls it's self out, this is max where GM reccomends it, you may then want to adjust it out 1-2 clicks if this setting is to harsh for your liking.
