What Heads?????

How can I tell if the heads on my motor are Champion iron heads?
I have looked at the side and they don't say champion on them?(that I can see)
I was told by the person I bought the car from and the shop that built the car that it has them??
How do I find out what heads I have?

My cnc Champion iron heads have "Champion" machined below the valve cover rail....

Same here, Champion stamped on the side of the heads....

They may not be stamped all of the time. I have Champion ported irons on my TTA and they are not stamped. I bought them direct from Champion too. So I have to keep my receipt for proof. Hopefully yours are stamped. Otherwise you may have to pull a manifold to see if they have been worked.

@Sweet6 is there anyway to tell by looking at them? Like pull the valve cover to find some numbers on the head?

"Champion" iron heads are nothing more than ported stock iron heads. Albeit, very, very well ported, stock iron heads. No real magic bullet to look for.

Just to update I spoke with Tom at Champion and Kevin at KDK.
They confirm that I have a very early set of Champion heads before they were putting the name on the side.
Also Tom said that they do number their heads so if your not sure you can always look for that number.
