Gm started 3800 s/c production in 1991 with the buick park ave, SSEi, in 97 the regal, GP, park ave, revira, ssei, and olds royal recieve the series II s/c. the s/c car is better with gas milage due to the fact the 3800 motor is a roller motor and the LC2 is not, the 3800 PCM is like comparing a pentium process to a the old processor. alot of changes has been made to the 3800 motor when compare to the LC2, but if you are looking to make true HP the TC is the way to go. the rear wheel drive car is easier to launch, when compare to FWD. the TB is able to be a very high HP car with all its stock interior with minor weight reduction. but do get me wrong the 3800 FWD is a big ball player too. I just like the TB when it comes to high HP. i am shooting for 750hp with my TB, my s/c currently make 425hp at the wheel.
