The first one is the EGR solenoid, I think you can remove that; just cap off the vacuum line. The second is for the dash boost gauge and I doubt you'll be using that in your Malibu. The third and fourth are the wastegate solenoid. Unless your chip is controlling your boost you can remove that too. The red connector plugs into that solenoid. I would put all of it in a box and store it, not throw away.

Pic 1- is the egr seloniod.yes it can be remover pending other mods.
Pic-2 is of the plug that would plug into the Map sensor. But u have a digital dash,right?
Pic-3 is of the boost silinoid
Pic-4 is the plug for the boost silinoid. It would only be unplugged if your using a after market boost controller.
