Yes that looks to be correct. It should be about an 1/8" past the close position. The part number of the w/g will reveal the poundage of the spring unless you have a scale by which to measure the poundage. The stock was ~7#s if I remember correctly and the higher boost w/g ~14#.
To check the w/g you can use a mighty-vac or something similar, to check vacuum/pressure.
