So I've got a VDO/GNX replica dash setup I'm "sorta" tinkering with. Do I really need the VSS? I don't have cruise, but I do like my lockup. Will this be affected? I plan on using an electric VDO speedo BTW. Thanks.

The lockup will be affected. Depending on the chip, other things may also be affected.

Dang, not what I wanted to hear.:frown: I'll be installing a TT chip/injector combo soon as I have time. I appreciate the advice.
