vss question

Can you drive a tta without the vss? don't have one and have been looking for a while. And am ready to drive the car. I have one out of the gn to plug the hole but am wondering what all wont work with out it. I am really ready to get started tuning

Yes you can drive it. The check engine light will come on. The torque converter will not lock up as the ECM uses the VSS signal for lock up.

Called them and ordered one and they sent me one for a 700r4. Instead of the one that goes on the end of the cable drive. Now they will not answer calls or emails.

I just phone them and the number out of order, what's up with that.

there was no part identifying number on the VSS itself
