This is a Virgin GM Casting stage 2 (on center) block that still hasn't even had the sleeves installed yet. Comes with steel main caps.... This block requires the external Duttweiler oiling system which we also have available at an extra cost.

This is NOT an Indy block, this is a NASCAR block... The Indy blocks are distinctly different.

There might be 2-3 of these left in existence but most likely none as a Virgin block like this one...

SOLD - SOLD - SOLD!

I agree with the 800 hp. If you look in the old Power Source book everything seemed to be operating in the 400 - 800hp range regardless of the form of racing used. Doesn't mean it couldn't be pushed much higher than that tho. It is built much better , beefier looking, than the 2 aluminum Brayton blocks that I had. That really could have been the "what if" block. If a block like that was readily available for us to play with back in the day. Sorry to mess up the for sale thread.

Can we get a picture of the GM casting numbers?
I don’t believe it has a casting number as they never went into production but I could be wrong. It’s a on center block that if someone wanted to be really different would make a unique high hp motor build
