I recently took my engine apart and repalced the rings, bearings, etc. Well I started it up and there seems to be a lot of loud valvetrain noise, not lifter ticking, but metallic sounds. I have yet to take off my valvecovers, before I do I just wanted some ideas of what could cause this. I did not replace the lifters, and the engine was fine before, any ideas?
